Project background

The project, carried out in collaboration with the organization SHARP, has a duration of three months. It focuses on strengthening the capacity of civil society organizations (CSOs) in Libya, specifically those operating within the country. The project aims to enhance the effectiveness and impact of these CSOs, empowering them to create positive change.

The primary goal of the project is to strengthen the capacity of civil society in Libya. This is achieved through two main objectives. The first objective is to increase understanding of CSOs operating in Libya and the available resources to support their work. This provides CSOs with valuable insights and knowledge to navigate their operating environment more effectively. The second objective is to promote increased skills, knowledge, and connections among Libyan civil society, fostering greater civic engagement.

The project is currently at the first stage, which involves training facilitated by the Moomken online e-learning platform. CSOs are invited to participate in online e-training through the Moomken online training platform, Mocs.ly, to ensure alignment and preparation before the physical training sessions.

Through this project, the aim is to empower CSOs in Libya, enabling them to make a positive impact in their communities and contribute to the development of civil society. By providing targeted training and resources, the project seeks to enhance the capabilities and effectiveness of CSOs, ultimately fostering positive change and sustainable progress.
