Overview:

The E-Resource Center project was launched to enhance the digital capacity and institutional resilience of Libyan civil society organizations (CSOs). Through this initiative, Moomken Organization aimed to create an accessible, interactive platform that supports CSOs by providing reliable digital learning content, organizational development tools, and a knowledge-sharing network.

The project was part of a broader program funded by the European Union and implemented by the British Council in partnership with international and local actors.

Objective:

To support the digital transformation of Libyan CSOs by providing them with a virtual platform and capacity-building content, enabling them to improve their internal systems, engage their communities more effectively, and ensure long-term sustainability.

Key Results:

  • A digital resource platform now hosts more than 50 tools and training modules accessible to hundreds of users.
  • Dozens of CSOs benefited from tailored training on organizational development, financial management, and strategic planning.
  • Created a sustainable knowledge hub for civil society actors seeking growth and collaboration opportunities.

Main Activities:

  • Designed and launched a user-friendly online platform providing training materials, self-assessment tools, and policy templates for CSOs.
  • Produced digital video content and step-by-step guides in Arabic to help organizations improve governance, communication, and project implementation.
  • Delivered virtual and in-person capacity-building workshops targeting civil society stakeholders across Libya.
