Overview:
This project aimed to strengthen the capacities of Libyan Business Support Organizations (BSOs) and enable them to participate effectively in economic reform discussions in Libya through direct dialogue with decision-makers.
Led by the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), the project focused on creating an independent and influential voice within Libya’s business community. It began with an exploratory phase involving dialogue sessions with promising organizations, followed by a national conference to discuss the roles of BSOs in Libya’s reconstruction efforts.
The initiative went beyond dialogue it included the exchange of expertise in advocacy and member representation. It is considered a foundational step toward a broader program, contingent on political and security developments in the country.
Objective:
To strengthen the role of Libyan BSOs and empower them to contribute to economic reforms and national reconstruction efforts through strategic dialogue, knowledge exchange, and effective representation of the private sector’s interests.
