About Moomken Organization:

 

Moomken organization for awareness and media was established on 12/6/2013 and was officially registered at the Ministry of Culture and Society on 6/10/2013. It is one of the civil organizations that work in the field of raising awareness and media as well as report compilation and survey gathering. During the first months from the establishment of Moomken and throughout, our efforts were concentrated towards developing different projects surrounding the issues that we wish to focus on. We later produced the appropriate materials needed to raise awareness for the social segment we wish to work with; with a focus on young men and women, whilst creating a space for volunteers to provide them with a platform through which they carry out relevant and impactful voluntary work.

 

Job overview

The Head of Projects Manager office will be responsible for all of Moomken projects implementation and achievement of results. The Head of Projects Manager office will provide the other project manager and the the department staff with all the tasks and make sure that everything implemented on time and as planed. The successful candidate will have the following specific responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervising project managers, the office’s assets, and all external correspondences and publications
  • Supervising all project tasks on Moomken’s ERP system and tracking progress periodically by highlighting late and completed projects, managing completion documents and archiving.
  • Managing some projects for which there is no specific Project Manager assigned.
  • Coordination and preparation for weekly or emergency meetings of Project Managers.
  • Supporting Project Managers in implementing the organization’s project management plan and striving to achieve the objectives of the various projects.
  • Taking over the tasks of the main Project Manager in his or her absence, after approval of the leave request or justification for absence.
  • Making entries and working on the electronic project management system.
  • Coordination of all activities of a similar nature or specialization/theme.
  • Understanding the skills needed by department staff and training them on all topics related to the field of project management.
  • Conducting field visits for activities and projects that the organization either leads or participates in.
  • Collecting and archiving the database of weekly and monthly reports for Project Managers, which written and graphic/visual data.
  • Writing and editing periodic reports and success stories highlighting the achievements of project managers, sending them to the Program Development Department and making them available for publication as needed.
  • Assisting in writing proposals and suggesting ideas and initiatives for managing the organization.
  • Performing any other tasks that may assigned within his/her competencies.
  • Full authority to define and implement the Project Management plan, subject to review by the Director of the Program Management Department

  • Position Reports to: Program Manager
  • Indirect Reporting: CEO
  • Internal: HR, CEO and Finance,
  • External: Donors

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor degree in business administration, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience working in managing projects
  • Previous experience in drafting reports
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, MS project profficnal, ERP systems.
  • Previous experience in mentoring and coaching team members
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility
  • Clear understanding of democracy, and Human rights and labor.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic required

حيث ستشمل مسؤوليات الوظيفة التالي:

–              الإشراف على مدراء المشاريع وعلى موجودات المكتب وما يصدر عنه من مراسلات وإصدارات.

–              مساندة مدراء المشاريع في تطبيق مخطط إدارة المشاريع الخاص بالمنظمة، والسعي نحو تحقيق أهداف المشاريع المختلفة.

–              قيادة مهام مدير المشروع الأساسي في حال عدم تواجده\غيابه؛ وذلك بعد موافقته على طلب الاجازة أو مبرر الغياب.

–              جمع وأرشفة قاعدة البيانات الخاصة بالتقارير الأسبوعية والشهرية الخاصة بمدراء المشاريع بما في ذلك البيانات المكتوبة والمصورة.

–              كتابة التقارير وإعداد قصص النجاح وكتابة وتحرير جميع التقارير الدورية المتعلقة بإنجازات مدراء المشاريع التي تقودها المنظمة وإرسالها لإدارة تطوير البرامج وإتاحتها للنشر على النحو المطلوب.

كما يشترط في المتقدم خبرة لا تقل عن السنتيّن في مجال العمل المجتمعي عبر مشاريع على أرض الواقع.

على أن يمتلك المتقدم المهارات التالية

– اجادة الصياغة والتعبير الشفهي والكتابي باللغة العربية والانجليزية.

–              خبرة في العمل مع الجمهور والجهات الحكومية الرسمية.

–              القدرة على صياغة الأفكار العامة بشكل واضح ودقيق شفوياً وكتابياً، علاوة على امتلاك مهارات في الكتابة والتوثيق.

–              القدرة على العمل كجزء من فريق وتحمل ضغط العمل
